Xiaomi has officially launched its latest addition to the foldable smartphone market, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, during a comprehensive product unveiling event held in China. While the device is all set to hit the Chinese market shelves on August 16, there has been no official announcement regarding the global release date for this innovative foldable handset. The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 takes a significant step forward in terms of design, being even sleeker than its predecessor, the Mix Fold 2. It's equipped with dual E6 OLED displays, measuring 8.03 inches and 6.56 inches for the internal and external screens respectively.

Available in two distinct color options - Moon Shadow Black and Xingyao Gold, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 comes with a price tag of CNY 8,999 (roughly Rs. 1,03,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at CNY 9,999 (approximately Rs. 1,14,500), while the high-end variant sporting 16GB RAM and 1TB storage comes with a price tag of CNY 10,999 (around Rs. 1,26,600).

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 features a primary 8.03-inch E6 AMOLED LTPO foldable display and a secondary 6.56-inch AMOLED cover display with FHD+ resolution. Powered by a robust octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, the device offers internal storage options of up to 1TB using the efficient UFS 4.0 technology. Running on MIUI 14 based on Android 13, the innovative hinge design supports an impressive opening angle range of 45 to 135 degrees.
The smartphone showcases a distinctive quad-camera setup on its rear panel, encompassing a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 800 primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens, and an additional 10-megapixel periscope lens.
