Windows 11 has just been updated with a bunch of awesome features! It's got support for Copilot, Microsoft's new AI-powered assistant, as well as enhanced MS Paint with layer support and graphics generation. The Snipping Tool is now AI-enhanced with text extraction and redaction too. Plus, Windows Backup will let you transfer your data when switching to a new Windows 11 PC. Copilot brings Bing Chat to Windows 11, allowing you to do all sorts of things like take screenshots, toggle Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, get a summary of a web page and more. It's super easy to get going with Copilot - just press the Windows key and C or click the icon on the Windows 11 taskbar.

Microsoft's giving MS Paint a major makeover - adding features like the ability to work with multiple layers, like Adobe Photoshop, and a built-in image editing tool that can help you take out the background of any image. It's one of the biggest updates the app has gotten in almost 40 years!

In the upcoming weeks, testers on the Windows Insider will get a sneak peek of the new Paint Cocreator. According to Microsoft's blog, you'll be able to type in a phrase and it'll come up with a unique image. Plus, they've also said you'll get 50 credits to use the feature, but it looks like you'll have to pay for more after that.

Microsoft's Snipping Tool for Windows 11 is getting two new AI-powered features: text recognition and redaction. Text recognition uses optical character recognition (OCR) to detect text, redaction will let you black out text like an email address or phone number. Plus, File Explorer on Windows 11 is getting an improved home interface with bigger thumbnails for favorites and recent files. You can also open RAR and 7-zip files without third-party apps. To get the latest updates, just open the Windows 11 settings app, navigate to Windows Update, and enable the Get the latest updates as soon as they're an available option. Then you just have to wait for the update to show up on your laptop or desktop.
