Apple recently released iOS 17 for recent iPhone models, which comes with lots of new features and improvements. It's now easier to share files with other users using AirDrop - Apple's file, image, and video sharing protocol. After updating to iOS 17, you can get close to someone else's iPhone to quickly share all kinds of stuff with just a tap. This is available on all iPhones that have updated to iOS 17, but you have to enable it in your settings and make sure it's on in the Command Centre.

- Make sure your iPhone has been updated to the latest version of iOS 17 — at the moment, the latest version is iOS 17.0.2.
- Open the settings app and tap on General > AirDrop.
- Toggle the Bringing Devices Together option.
- Open the Photos app and navigate to the photo or video you want to share.
- Bring your phone close to the second iPhone and tap the Share button to send the file via AirDrop.
