Apple just dropped the iPhone 15 Pro Max as the cream of the crop of the iPhone 15 series released earlier this week at their 'Wonderlust' event. It's rocking a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with Apple's Ceramic Shield material, while Samsung came out with the Galaxy S23 Ultra earlier this year in February with a 6.8-inch Edge QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display. Both devices are on the high end of their series and offer up to 1TB of storage. Let's compare the two and see what they have in common and where they differ.

iPhone 15 Pro Max vs Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra: Price in India


The newly released iPhone 15 Pro Max has been unveiled on September 12 and will be available in India from September 22. It has four color options - Black Titanium, Blue Titanium, Natural Titanium, and White Titanium - and comes in three storage sizes - 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Prices range from ₹1,59,900 to ₹1,99,900. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, on the other hand, starts at ₹1,24,999 for its 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant and goes up to ₹1,54,999 for the 1TB storage model. It's available in Phantom Black, Cream, Green, Lavender Red, Graphite, Lime, and Sky Blue.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max and Galaxy S23 Ultra both have impressive features, but the former is packed with a lot more tech. It has a 6.7-inch Super Retina display, a Grade 5 titanium and aluminum sub-structure for extra durability, a new 3nm chipset, and a USB Type-C port. It also offers a quad camera setup and more than 24 hours of battery life. The S23 Ultra, on the other hand, has a 6.8-inch Edge QHD+ display, a custom version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, a quad rear camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. Both handsets have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
