Apple users warned after Samsung! Government notifies against THIS critical risk

CERT-In reported on Friday that a bunch of flaws have been found in Apple products.

These weaknesses could cause big problems, potentially letting hackers get their hands on sensitive info, run code they shouldn't be able to, get around safety measures, and even cause system crashes, just to name a few of the scary possibilities.

Just two days ago, there was an urgent warning issued to Samsung users about potential security flaws in devices running Android 11, 12, 13, and 14. The Galaxy S23, Samsung's most popular phone, is among those affected because it uses Android 14.

According to the alert from the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-in), Apple products like iOS, Apple watchOS, iPadOS, and versions of Apple Safari earlier than 17.2 are also vulnerable. CERT-In classifies the risk as 'high', meaning the risk of authentication bypass, the elevation of privileges, and even spoofing attacks on targeted systems is real.

CERT-In recently reported that Samsung devices running Android versions 11, 12, 13, and 14 have security vulnerabilities that, if exploited, could give attackers access to the sensitive data stored on the device. It's super important for users to update their Samsung phones ASAP to protect themselves from this threat, which CERT-In has classified as high.

The cybersecurity team's inspection uncovered a bunch of issues, like access control problems with Knox features, integer overflow faults with the facial recognition program, authorization troubles with AR Emoji, errors with Knox security, and memory corruption weaknesses with various system components.
